Humanetix technologies have been developed as a response to the way IT systems can distract from rather than effectively support core responsibilities.
Current generation systems function like a virtual filing cabinet requiring extensive navigation in order to retrieve or record information.
Next generation Humanetix systems apply clinically devised rules to present relevant information and create records automatially.
This technical breakthrough is dedicated to hardworking healthcare workers who cared for our founder’s daughter through her fatal illness.

A first-hand experience with the systemic burden faced by hospital staff initiated a learning journey for founder Matt Darling. An expert in technology who had worked at the forefront of intelligent systems design, Matt saw a complex system in crisis with no real solution. Setting out to understand and solve the complex problems faced in hospitals led to the launch of SmartWard. This intelligent all-encompassing system incorporates all hospital records, patient data and real-time patient care tasks and was designed then trialed to be safety critical and help hospital staff, particularly nurses, to have more time with patients.
VIE’s Intelligent Systems design was developed using the scientific method and involving years of extensive research and development. Clinical Trials generated excitement and support from hospital networks in several Australian districts. People working in other sectors approached us to design applications of VIE to their complex, safety-critical working environments.
We explored potential applications for VIE (Virtually Infinitely Extensible). An extensive period of business development saw our team speaking to world leaders in technology and to governments and NGOs facing some of society’s most complex problems. We were shortlisted for an international prize and fielded increasing requests from across the globe to learn about our technology.
A corporate re-branding saw Humanetix born as our parent company. Our products apply to Hospital, Health, Aged Care and Defence and we have an ambitious, market-validated growth strategy to expand into further markets. After extensive research, testing, patenting and exploration at the frontier of systems tech, we are certain that our products are unique and un-matched in quality, safety and potential.
